Oracle AI World Tour, London—24 March 2026
Oracle and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are now offering Oracle AI Database@AWS to customers in the UK and Ireland. With the offering’s debut in the AWS Europe (London) and Europe (Ireland) Regions, customers can now run Oracle Exadata Database Service, Oracle Autonomous AI Database, and Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse on dedicated infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) within AWS.
Oracle AI Database@AWS enables customers to easily and quickly migrate their on-premises Oracle AI Database and Oracle Exadata workloads to AWS with minimal changes, offering full feature availability, architectural compatibility, and the same performance as on-premises. Oracle AI Database@AWS delivers zero-ETL (extract, transform, and load) integrations that unify data estates across Oracle and AWS for advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI services, such as Amazon Bedrock. By integrating the powerful capabilities of Oracle AI Database with data and services from AWS, customers can easily build new AI-enabled applications or enhance existing ones.
“The availability of Oracle AI Database@AWS in the AWS Regions in London and Ireland helps meet rising demand from public and private sector organisations looking to modernise mission-critical workloads and accelerate AI-driven innovation,” said Jason Rees, senior vice president, technology engineering, Oracle EMEA. “Customers can now migrate their on-premises Oracle Exadata workloads to Oracle AI Database services deployed within AWS with minimal disruption. This is a game changer and will enable them to bring the highly secure Oracle AI Database together with AWS’s advanced analytics and generative AI capabilities to unlock greater value from their data.”
The availability in the AWS Europe (London) and AWS Europe (Ireland) Regions complements the previously announced availability in the AWS Regions of Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Australia (Sydney), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt), US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), and US West (Oregon). Oracle and AWS plan to expand availability to 13 additional Regions, including Asia Pacific (Hyderabad), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Osaka), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Australia (Melbourne), Europe (Milan), Europe (Paris), Europe (Spain), Europe (Stockholm), Europe (Zurich), South America (São Paulo), and US West (N.
